THE MAYEDAY FAMILY FOUNDATION
After leading New England to Super Bowl LX, Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and his wife Ann Michael were determined to ramp up their efforts in the community.
Dreambuilders worked with the Mayes to find out the causes that were important to them and to build sustainable, unique programs to make a true impact in those areas.
Drake and Ann Michael directed Dreambuilders to focus their new foundation’s efforts in New England and their home state of North Carolina, and laid out an initial list of initiatives to build on, like childhood cancer and food insecurity. From there, Dreambuilders worked with partner organizations like Boston Children’s Hospital to establish a Child Life program on their oncology floor and announced this new initiative as part of the official public launch of the foundation.
In addition to program development, Dreambuilders worked with the Mayes to build a logo and a web and social media presence for the foundation, and put plans in place to host a celebrity softball game as its first official fundraiser. This included working with the venue and overseeing ticket and sponsorship sales and promotion for the event. The MayeDay Celebrity Softball Classic was hosted just three months after launching the foundation.

The MayeDay Celebrity Softball Classic
Patriots all-pro quarterback Drake Maye and his wife Ann Michael launched the MayeDay Family Foundation through a fiscal sponsorship with Dreambuilders in early 2026. They debuted with a sold-out celebrity softball fundraiser at Polar Park in Worcester, Mass. The event was a blend of family fun and star power, featuring numerous Patriots teammates and celebrities like Barstool’s Dave Portnoy, comedian Matt Rife and Team USA golden goal scorer Megan Keller.
The inaugural MayeDay Softball Celebrity Softball Classic raised the bar for charity softball games, attracting more than a quarter million dollars in sponsorships and selling out all 9,500 seats at Polar Park in Worcester, Mass. The event also added to the total fundraising tally through merchandise sales, suite sales, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Dreambuilders worked with the stadium staff to create a unique fan experience that featured a fireworks show, interactive sponsorship activations and celebrity jumbotron interviews during the game and the Home Run Derby.
Altogether, the MayeDay Celebrity Softball Classic raised more than $560,000 for the MayeDay Family Foundation, its programs and initiatives. In addition to the extensive family entertainment, the event also served as an excellent way for Drake and Ann Michael to share the impact of their foundation and the funds that were raised at the game itself, presenting checks to Boston Children’s Hospital and a grant to a local Worcester high school. Drake even made a pledge for each home run hit during the event, and kept a running total on the video board throughout the game.
